Frontend Developer Angular/JavaScript (Contract)
Location: Antwerp Country: Belgium Rate: EUR450 - EUR500 per day
 

Join our dynamic agile development team of ten individuals, as we embark on enhancing our internally developed software platform. We're seeking an adept Frontend Developer proficient in Angular/JavaScript to bolster our application's capabilities. If you have a knack for Java Back End programming, that's a bonus!

Responsibilities:

  • Craft efficient and well-structured code for our new application, adhering to the principles of Normalized Systems.
  • Drive the implementation of user stories while overseeing application maintenance and management.
  • Foster seamless communication and collaboration with diverse stakeholders (business analysts, testers, scrum masters, solution architects) to ensure accurate implementation and testing of functionalities.
  • Ensure comprehensive code coverage through meticulous unit testing.
  • Develop technical designs based on functional analyses and maintain thorough software documentation without losing sight of the big picture.

Who You Are:

  • Possess a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Front End developer, ideally within an Enterprise-class environment.
  • Proficient in Angular (17) for Front End and Java for Back End development.
  • Mastery in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript, with familiarity in Angular Material being advantageous.
  • Comfortable with databases (MariaDB) to collaborate effectively with Back End colleagues.
  • Well-versed in RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Experienced in performing unit tests.
  • Familiarity with standard software development tools like JIRA and CI/CD tools.
  • Excellent command of Dutch, passive knowledge of French, and proficient in English.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (SCRUM) is preferred.
  • Possess strong analytical, communication, and synthesis skills, with openness to feedback.
  • Eager to learn, flexible, results-oriented, proactive, and critical.
  • Capable of both independent work and effective teamwork.
  • Ideally hold at least a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent qualification.
