Business Systems Analyst (Permanent)

Location: Essex Country: UK Rate: £35k - £75k per annum
 

Business Systems Analyst - Insurance Software Solutions

Hybrid Working - 2 Days PW in Essex.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative 'work family', where you will be engaged in a client facing role as a Business Systems Analyst supporting Insurance specialists with the implementation of full-cycle software solutions.

If you enjoy fluctuating between utilising your SQL technical skills and knowledge/experience of working within the Insurance domain, then this could be the role for you!

Suiting an individual with a background in software development and analysis, with either a vendor or insurance end-user.

What will you be doing as a Business Systems Analyst:-

  • Reporting into the Group Ops Director, you will be working in a client facing capacity, determining Business Systems Requirements, estimating costs through to presenting completed solutions.
  • This is a varied role utilising your skills between analysis and software configuration.
  • SQL Scripting, reporting and systems design.
  • Showing your flexibility in your ability to apply yourself to both Business and Technical areas, by working closely with the development team.

Experience required:-

  • You must have significant knowledge of working in either the General or London Market insurance domain.
  • Be able to produce project feasibility reports.
  • Ability to build SQL queries and utilise SQL to report on and modify databases when required.
  • Translation of client requirements into project documentation.
  • Able to draw up proposals for modified or replacement insurance solutions.
  • Model testing.
