We continue to thrive and need your talent and motivation to help propel us farther, faster. Jacobs is seeking a Carbon Black/Tripwire Enterprise Administrator for the Washington, D. C. office. Duties will include:
  • Provide full life-cycle Tripwire and Carbon Black Response product engineering support, including: Product Deployment, Configuration and Maintenance, and Tier 3 Support
  • Develop technical documentation including, but not limited to:
    • Stakeholder requirements documentation
    • System architecture diagrams (Visio)
    • Test plans
    • Installation/Deployment Procedures
    • Deployment schedules
    • System performance analysis
    • Navigate client change control processes with effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Coordinate with other intersecting organizations, assist user community, communicate with vendors, and adapt to a technically challenging environment
  • Write and develop custom scripts, programs as needed
  • Provide recommendations and implement changes to optimize Carbon Black/Tripwire Enterprise products in customer environments
  • US Citizen - Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology, IT Security, Network Systems Technology or related field or equivalent experience plus five (5) to seven (7) years of directly related experience or any equivalent combination of education, experience, training and certifications.
  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • Experience authoring technical documentation such as Installation/Deployment Procedures
    • Experience developing enterprise strategic architecture and implementation of IT Security deployments
    • Proficiency administering RedHat Enterprise Linux systems
    • Proficiency administering Windows Server 2008, 2012, and 2016 systems
    • Ability to perform basic and advanced Scripting tasks to automate repeatable processes
    • Professional writing and verbal communication skills
  • Desired Qualifications:
    • Active RHCSA (RedHat Certified System Administrator) or higher
    • Carbon Black/Tripwire design, configuration, customization, and optimization experience
    • Experience Deploying Updates using Red Hat Satellite Server
    • Experience with automating credential management using CyberArk
    • Experience with enterprise Change Management processes
    • Programming and/or Scripting language experience
    • Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills
    • CISSP or other IT Security certification
Essential Functions:
Physical Requirements:Most work will be done at a desk or computer.
Work Environment:General Office environment. The work environment is fast-paced and sometimes involves extreme deadline pressures. The nature of the work requires a high degree of teamwork and cooperation with other members of the staff as well as individuals across the Company and Customers.
Equipment & Machines:General office equipment including PC/laptop, Fax, Copiers, Shredder, Printers, Telephone, and other miscellaneous office equipment.
Attendance:Attendance is critical at all times. Must be able to work a 40-hour workweek, normally Monday through Friday. However, times and days may vary depending on business requirements. Needs to be available to work overtime during critical peaks and be available to meet last minute requests for overtime should the situation occur.

Must take and pass a drug test and background check as well as a motor vehicle records check. Must be a US citizen.
